- I'm aging, but not yet ancient. I'm still in control of most bodily functions, including my mind, although, as David Hume observed, the body has its way of showing you who's boss. That is a paraphrase, of course. Another way of putting it is that I'm still of "sound mind and body," or was when I wrote these words. When I'm gone, ya'll won't have my surprising mental leaps to kick around any more. My 2010 summer Divestiture Tour is as close to what you deserve from me as I can come. Accept my junk! And a visit from me on my tour. Let's have a yuck.
I could use this. I'm looking for things to make kindling out of for winter.
ReplyDeleteI suppose you think you could roll it up into little logs like inmates do to make log houses and picture frames. No, you don't get my precious thoughts to stoke your pyromaniac pleasures.
ReplyDeleteIf I could have these I would make them into a scrapbook with a wooden cover decoupaged with a picture of Abe Lincoln. I would carefully place all the papers in place with picture corners, and put stars and happy faces all over them.

Not unless you left it after the cleaning people were here. I immediately shit-can student work without reading it. I'd throw it out the window like Ignatius Reilly, but I'm below sea level here.
